Oh look! Another reunion!! There has been speculation since ex band members of Blink 182 have started speaking again that they are set for a reunion. The unfortunate death of Jerry Finn, who was their producer and Travis Barker’s close call in the tragic plane accident that happened a couple of months ago, got the band talking again.

- Blink 182 Back In The Day
The band split in 2005 and was apparantley quite messy, but since they have become friends again, Blink 182 fans are dusting off hte t-shirts ready for a tour.
Get a grip people. They are old friends who have just started speaking following a horrific crash that killed 6 people! Give them a break and let them get on with things. Barker and Mark Hoppus have been recording as +44 and Tom Delonge became front man for Angels and Airwaves. They are continuing with their current projects until further notice.
Mark Hoppus commented on the recent contact with the others.
“We’re just reconnecting as friends after four years of not talking. It’s a good thing. Obviously the first question for a lot of people will be, ‘Does this mean a Blink-182 reunion?’ The answer is none of us know. We haven’t talked about it at all. Right now it’s just good for the three of us to see one another, reconnect and let the past be the past.”

Travis Barker, the ex drummer from former American Rock Band Blink 182 and DJ AM, a US club DJ aka Adam Goldstein, have been critically injured in a plane crash that killed 4 other people in South Carolina. The two are being treated for burns but doctors are expecting them to make a fully recovery.

The two musicians had performed together in Columbia under the name TRVSDJ-AM the night of the crash, Friday 19th September.
The plane, which crashed just before midnight, is supposed to have blown a tire which may have caused the fatal accident.
A spokesperson for the Federal Avaiation Administration (FAA) advised that the plane steered off the runway into a nearby road when it was trying to take off. The air traffic controllers who were at the scene at the time of the crash said they thought they had seen sparks from the plane just before the crash.
The plane was carrying 6 people in total, of only which 2 survived.
Goodyear, who are the manufacturers of the tires that were on the plane, are working with the investigation team to get to the bottom of what happened.
In a recent statement they say,
“We have been contacted by the NTSB and will cooperate fully with its investigation. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims of this accident.”
The black box reveals to the investigators that the crew were talking about a blown tire on the aircraft just before it crashed into the embankment.
Our thoughts and sentiments are with the families of the injured and of those who have passed on.
