Nickelback 2010 UK Tour Dates and Tickets

Posted on 25th September 2009 by Daniel Higginbotham in News, Tour Dates

This is the news all Nickelback fans have been waiting for – the return of the band to UK shores for two new shows early next year. We have always tried to keep fans in the loop, like when the last shows were announced in the United States of America, Australia and New Zealand and the United Kingdom when they were last here back in May.

Those in the know will already have got their pre-sale tickets which were onsale until 9am this morning. However, I have just checked and standing tickets are still available at the time of writing for both UK gigs.

Visit these Ticketmaster or Ticketline links as soon as possible to secure your valuable tickets!

Following their sold out tour in May, tickets surely won’t be available for long. The platinum-selling album Dark Horse is now widely known by all fans and so it will be a great occasion to experience the band knowing all the songs.

The band will play in Liverpool at the Echo Arena on Sunday 17th January 2010 and in London at Wembley Arena on Tuesday 19th January 2010.

There are also special VIP ticket packages for fans who want to experience the show in style.

Rock Supergroup launches UK tour

Posted on 7th September 2009 by Daniel Higginbotham in News, Tour Dates

Not all supergroups work as Blind Faith can testify, while Cream and Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young prove that they can. I was, and still am a big fan of Audioslave which featured most notably Chris Cornell from Soundgarden and Tom Morello from Rage Against the Machine. Now we have another supergroup forming to fill us with intrigue.

As I mentioned in an article back in July, Them Crooked Vultures is a hard rock supergroup which has been brought together by Dave Grohl, the Foo Fighters’ frontman and ex-Nirvana drummer. The band features an interesting line up which includes Queens of the Stone Age singer Josh Homme and Led Zeppelin Bassist John Paul Jones. Alain Johannes of Queens of the Stone Age will also appear at the live gigs.

Now, while it is too early to say how well they’ll do, and I haven’t even heard any of the songs yet, I certainly wish them well as they embark on a six-date UK tour this December.
