It is the moment you have been waiting for people!! Bret Michaels, thats the Poison front man to those of you who don’t know, has actually said that the band is in talks with none other than Def Leppard!!! If it goes ahead, the tour should be later on in the year. He spoke to CNN about the tour.

“I’ve got a huge announcement, which actually just happened this morning. Def Leppard and Poison are gonna go out on the road this summer. And the reason that’s exciting for me, I know it will be the rock tour this summer. Poison and Def Leppard, with all those big hits, being out there, we put out a great show, we’ve got a huge fanbase, but the one thing the fans get, we always keep the ticket prices down and deliver an absolutely awesome, kick-ass rock show. And I look forward to it, because I’m still a fan of music — I’m very passionate about the music I make — and when you can be out on the road with people you like — I’ve been able to go out with Aerosmith, Kiss, Skynard — and to be out with Def Leppard and Poison this summer, I think that it’s gonna be the tour of the summer.”
Well there it is guys and girls. Poison and Def Leppard at one concert and a fair ticket price. Maybe Bon Jovi will take a leaf out of their book and realise it IS all about the fans and what you can do for them. After all, they are the reason that bands are popular.

Even though they have not had any ground breaking albums for a little while, they are both still massively popular bands who can get the crowd going with their big riffs and catchy chorus.
Keep tuned for more updates if the tour does go ahead and I’ll let you know dates and prices as soon as I have the info. Why not check out the latest band news or purchase band merchandise and promotional T Shirts on the official band websites?

Ever heard of Chris Cornell or Timbaland? Of course you have. Chris Cornell is of Soundgarden and Audioslave fame, (He also did the bond theme for Casino Royale) and came of of Seattle at around the same time as Nirvana. Timbaland is a very well known producer , song writer and rapper in the music biz and has worked with far to many famous people to start mentioning them.
As it turns out, these two extremely talented people will be teaming up together and making a new album which is inspired by Pink Floyd’s ‘The Wall’ from 1979, where each track will run into the next track so the album will be a conitnuous stream of music.
This new album is titled “Scream” and is set to be released at the start of March this year.
This much awaited album is thought to be some of Cornell’s best work yet and good news to all Cornell fans as he will be touring Europe next month.
Kings of sleaze rock, Faster Pussycat, have announce tour dates for this year! Although I am absolutely mortified as none of the UK dates are anywhere near me and during the week when I can’t have any time off, any of you who do make it will be in for a rare treat.
I managed to see this amazing band two years ago and all I can say is Wow! They mix old school and glam with pure sleaze rock, catchy riffs and big choruses. Imagine the likes of Bon Jovi back to a time when they were good and multiply it by 1,000 and you come somewhere close to how brilliant this band is.
They first came into our lives back in the 80’s and toured with the likes of Guns N’ Roses, Motorhead and Alice Cooper. They have a slightly heavier sound than they had originally, probably due to when they reformed back in 2001 with a slightly different line-up which in my opinion, has made them even better.
Here are the dates for all you luck people who are want to go and see them.
Mon 19th Jan - London, United Kingdom - The Underworld
